Nail Polish of the Week

Sorry guys just found this I forgot to Schedule this to Publish, so here's an old post a wrote a while ago.

So this week my nail polish is from Rimmel London and its there 60 seconds collection. The colour I'm wearing is 430 - Coralicious. I do have to say this nail polish does dry quickly maybe not quite 60 seconds but does dry quicker than other nail polishes which I love as I hate the waiting process when painting your nails. This colour is a vibrate pink with a hint of orange mixed into it.
So on Sunday 17th February, I was working with some friends on a short film they are making called Wingmen so thought a more brighter colour was important as they were filming in a nightclub and plus I was wearing a navy skater dress from Primark which I brought recently which will appear in a Haul post very soon. So look out for that :) So I needed a pop of colour for my outfit.

They have a nice mixture of different colour but this as to be one of my favorite colors from this collection! Of course you can buy these from Boots and Superdrug.

Here's the link for Boots.
By clicking on Boots it will take you straight to Rimmel London 60 Seconds Nail Polish so you can see the wide range of colors they have on offer at the moment with 3 for 2!!

Have you tried 60 Seconds Nail Polishes from Rimmel? Let me know and tell me what your favourite colour is from this collection.

Review of Demalogica Travel Sets

When I was training to be a Beauty Therapist we used Dermalogica products when doing facials. I know the products always get mixed reviews but I think its because people don't know that there products contain ingredients that make the impurities in the skin to come out which yes it is annoying but when i was training we did facials once a week and i found my skin to get a lot better and of course it get me a lot information about how to look after my skin and the best skin care.

Here i have two different travel sets as you all know with the seasons it effects your skin differently so for me:
Winter and Spring I have very dry skin but come Summer and Autumn I get Combo/Oily skin. In these travel kits you get a Cleanser, Toner, Moisturiser, Scrub, A Lip Balm, and a sample of a Mask.

I found the cleanser in the Oily/Combo set had a horrible smell to it and of I didn't enjoy or look forward to using it. The cleanser was Dermal Clay and is a Green/Grey colour. The moisturiser was the Action Moist which is a oil-free lotion and felt nice on the skin.

The Cleanser in the Normal/Dry was a nice gel with no real strong smell as it is a Sensitive cleanser called Special Cleansing Gel and the moisturiser was the nicest products with a lovely smell to it and felt great on the skin. Also I found you don't need to use a lot of it as if you do it will make your skin feel oily as it is a thick moisturiser. The moisturiser is called  Skin Smoothing Cream.

The toner in both sets was their Multi-Active Toner which is good for all skin types.

I would recommend one of Demalogica's products to everyone and that is one of their Moisturisers called Barrier Repair which has a amazing silky feel to which and helps to protect your skin to the weather and it just feels incredible on the skin with the smallest amount on. This was the one products i always used in my facials when training and will always buy!

Much Love

Nail Polish of the Week

I have changed my nail polish this week to brand 17 - Real Romantic thinking the name is perfect as it Valentine's Day! The colour is a lovely natural pinky brown which look pretty natural but when the light hits it, it looks more pink which is lovely I think. In the bottle the colour look like it has a nice shimmer which also can only be seen on your nails when the light hits it (which personally I love). As me and my boyfriend aren't doing anything special for Valentine's Day maybe just going out for a meal I think this nail polish is great as I did want a colour that isn't too bright or in your face. I wanted a more natural and soft colour as with my make-up I'm going more natural with a darker lip, I think this look is great as I wanted a more sexier look while looking natural as my boyfriend thinks I shouldn't wear make-up as I don't need it (as he says)! Also the last few weeks my nail polish has been the brighter colour so its nice to have a change, especially as it's for an occasion. I picked this colour up from Boots a couple of years ago, so sadly I'm not sure if it is still availble. I did try looking at the Boots website but their website was having a few issues.

Also I forgot to add this colour is part of their High Gloss Collection.

Nail Polish of the Week

This week my nail polish is Urban Decay: Magic Bus. This colour is a vibrant orange which I love. I got this colour in a small gift set which my dad picked up for me when he was on holiday in Tunisia a few years ago. I love all the colors in the set and the set has a nice mixture of different colors which is great for me who changes her nail polish weekly! The nail polish was so nice to apply and was super shiny without a top coat which I have to admit I don't use very often. (VERY BAD I KNOW)
I also found this nail polish to dry fairly quick as well as I hate waiting around for my nails to dry.

This nail polish seems very hard wearing as normal I can chip my nail polish after an hour (VERY CLUMSY OF ME) and after 2 days of wearing this I haven't chipped one nail yet!

What colours are you loving right now for your nail?
Magic Bus on My Nails.
What a cute small bottle.

Mini Haul

On Tuesday 5th, me and one of my friends went to one of our local shopping centers at Cribbs Causeway in Bristol. We went to Paperchase where I brought a picture frame which is going to be a present for my Boyfriend for Valentines Day where I'm going to put a photo of us into.

He is obsessed with the colour Black!
and doesn't have a single picture of us together up in his house.

After we went to Boots, must have been in there for an hour, is it just me but I love walking around Boots so much I could spend all day in there. Always have great deals on, I went on to buy 2 Kate Moss lipsticks in 110 and 16 both are coral colour but one is matte and the other has a nice shimmer, Rimmel London Match Perfection foundation in Light Porcealin, thankfully Rimmel London had 3 for 2 on all Make-Up. Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer in Fair, Soap and Glory Fab Pore Hot Cloth Cleanser and V05 Miracle Mist.

Sadly I always find the Kate Moss lipsticks always sell out so fast in Boots so then had to go to Superdrug to buy my 2 favorite colour which are 107: Wine and 05 then Rimmel London Stay Matte Power in Transparent which was also sold out in Boots.

Any products you can recommend for me please do comment and let me know??

Review on The Body Shop All-in-One Base Foundation

Review

This foundation was my life saver through school and college. There was just nothing I didn't like about it, it gave me perfect coverage, felt so little on my skin and where I am lily white it gave me a bit of colour without making me look orange!! (Big PLUS for me :D) I first tried this after going to the body shop when I was 14 for one of their free makeover, which took about 30 minutes and when she had finished. The woman gave me a small form telling me all the products she used for my make-up and the make-up brushes she used which are all available to buy. The whole experience of getting my make-up done was lovely, the staff are always so nice and cheerful and she made me feel so comfortable.

Over the last few months The Body Shop has changed the numbering of their All in One Base Foundations, as before I was a 03 which for me is now 035. But also my colour seems to have changed a bit as well as when I have applied this I can see a hint of pink tones. This prices at £14 but if like me you have a Body Shop card you get 10% off plus they are always great deals and offers.

Although this foundation is more expensive than drugstore foundation personally I think it's a great investment as you only need this for a great base instead of buying a foundation then a setting power. Also i love the fact The Body Shop is against animal testing which is another great plus if you have people in your family who are vegetarians or vegans, as you know it's okay for them to use as its not against their believes or values if you decide to get this for friends or family.

Have you tried this?? Tell me what you think?

Review on Seaweed Ionic Clay Mask from The Body Shop

Review

For Christmas 2011 I recieved a collection of the Seaweed facial products from my Grandad. You can get these facial products from The Body Shop the Seaweed facial products is for Combination Skin, in the set he created for me was a Cleasner, Toner, Moisturiser, Mask, Facial Wash, Cotten Pads, Sponges.

In this review I will be talking about the Facial Mask which was called Seaweed Ionic Clay Mask.

With a facial mask I like it to feel soothing and relaxing like any other girl but sadly this mask after applying it it felt like it was burning my skin and it just got worse the longer I left it on for but I thought i would persist with it and see how my skin felt and looked like when I washed it off. The pot tell you to leave the mask on for 10/15 minutes which I did and my face was bright red like sun burn, was so sore to touch and really tight. The next day the redness had gone down thankfully but my skin was really shiny which made my skin look more greasy than before.

A few months later I decided to give the mask another try when looking through all the products I have and sadly the same thing happened again. But this time the pain was unbarable so I washed it off after 5 minutes. I was really disappointed as everything else in the set made my skin feel so much better. When I ran out of the other products I went to The Body Shop, and couldn't believe the facial mask was £12 which is for 100ml. I felt so upset by the fact it was so expensive and it caused a terrible reaction on my face. So for this I would not recommend this to any of my friends or family.

But please do let me know what you think of this mask if you have ever tried it.
Also here are picture to show I have tried this product I am giving you my opnion on.

Many Thanks
